Hello, my wife and I intend to thru hike from G’town to Cumberland over 10/11 days is September.

Is there a resource available that has the current status of water availability at the campgrounds?

Scroll down for Drinking Water Conditions.

Most are open, there’s just a few that have their handles removed.

My approach to water is to bring your own incase the wells aren’t working. That list is pretty accurate but it’s always good to prepare in case they are shut.
