Any known detours the first 15 miles from lock three up to lock 22 heading north due to construction on the Towpath causing to ride on loose dirt and sand?

I've not heard anything about any detours in that section of the C&O Towpath and the NPS C&O website isn't reporting any although that website is not always current.

John W will be passing through there in three days. Perhaps he can provide any new information.

Maybe some resurfacing going on that hasn’t been compacted well yet? Just a guess.
