bridge out?

Hello all:

Just recently completed the GAP. I had heard in Rockwood, PA that a bridge was out before Hancock on the C&O. Stairs were an alternative according to some cyclists. But can someone provide details?

When I went through there in August, there was indeed a bridge out on The C&O. I jumped up onto the WMRT to get past that bridge. I did not incur any stairs there.
