Who keeps the C&O and GAP trails in rideable condition?
Are the massive firings of federal employees going to be a problem by May 1?

The GAP is maintained by a group of volunteer trail associations for the most part. The C&O is maintained by the National Park Service. The effect, if any, of federal government efficiency actions on the C&O is not clear at this point.
