We started out planning on staying at LEVI DEAL HOUSE, HIGH END AND THE FAMOUS DONGES DRIVE IN. But we opted for THE INN ON MAIN, ONE OF THE 4 BEST PLACES TO STAY ON THE WHOLE TRAIL We were told THE WHITE HOUSE WAS THE BEST PLACES TO EAT. BUT DIDNT GO.
So we ended up first at FRANS a locals place, was over taken by smoke and never made it in the door. headed for donges drive in , they didn't have beer, so we ended up at TAKE SIX PIZZA AND SUBS, A LOCALS PLACE the food was really good the beer choice really good and cold. Yes the bar tender, waitress, and cook all took two minute smoke breaks, but the service was just fine. We all need a break at work, and it is the law. Riding up hill from take six or donges would be very hard.
i saw several pro riders run out of gas on this hill. We have EBIKES, NO PROBLEM ALL . We will go to the WHITE HOUSE FOR DINNER next time, per advice from inn keeper MOE.
