We were booked into this hotel , but we had to cancel because of schedule problems, and had to cancel wheelzup shuttle back to our truck. This hotel is right on the trail. and very nice, wheelzup is a block away. And does an excellent job. We only had one hour in CUMBERLAND, so we went to DIG DEEP BREWING, on the trail THEY HAD THE LOBSTER TRUCK , we only had time for a beer, it was great, dam we didn't have time to eat lobster, had to catch a new shuttle back to my truck that was now in Meyersdale instead of West Homestead , we did out and backs all the way to Meyersdale moving the truck each day. Yes flooding, washouts, thunder storms, and a trail closing between Markelton and Rockwood 6 miles changed our plans, We also didn't do out and back from West Homestead to Pittsburgh 8 mile each way. All in all we rode well over 200 miles on a 150 mile trail. Because we had my truck most of the way we were able to add several side trips. FLIGHT 93 MEMORIAL , waterfalls in ohiopyle, slide rock, a country restaurant 3 miles north of Rockwood. Brewery in Rockwood.

Terry thank you for all your great reviews and details. I'll be using them for my next adventure on the Gap. Sounds like you had a couple of hiccups, but overall a successful trip.
