Air BnB location in Cumberland: “Corner Tavern.”_
This is a great location for cyclists on C&O or GAP.
It is an easy walk to a row of great restaurants downtown and to the sites around Canal Place.
The host, Adam, is extremely responsive, advising me ahead of time when anything changed and promptly answering questions. One of us was injured, and he proactively made changes to check-out times because he knew we had to rent a vehicle and fetch our bikes from Frostburg.
Bike racks are in the foyer. A washing machine is available. There is a kitchen. This is really an apartment, not just a room. Price is great.
The Tavern/Cafe downstairs is run by Adam. It has a limited but tasty menu (not like a burger place). Serves breakfast. lunch, dinner. A calm and welcoming neighborhood pub.
This is now my go-to location in Cumberland.
-->BTW, Cafe Mark is great for breakfast, but be prepared to wait in line to order.
-->I can recommend Ottoviani Restaurant for dinner. A family place.
