The GAP Trail website is reporting a future disruption in Amtrak service between Pittsburgh and Washington DC as follows:
“Amtrak has announced that its Floridian route will be disrupted and will operate only between Chicago and Pittsburgh from October 16 to 26. In other words, it will not operate any trains between Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C. during that service disruption.
