Hi. Six of us are planning to fly into PIT to cycle GAP/CO to DC in June. We will be totally self-supported. Prior to flying into PIT we will box our bikes in cardboard bike boxes we get for free from a local bike shop. At the end of our trip, we will want to box our bikes in DC so we can fly out of BWI. Does anyone have any ideas how we can get our bike boxes from Pittsburgh to Washington DC or alternatively the name of some bike shops in DC where we could get some bike boxes. Thanks.

Dave, I would suggest calling Pro Bicycle Shop and Trek Bicycle Shop in Washington, DC. Both stores are in Georgetown and pretty close to the C&O. Good luck and have a good ride.
