slackwater detour well marked

I am planning a trip from Pittsburgh to DC, and I was noticing the detour. Is the detour well marked for bikers to find their way?

If you mean the Big Slackwater detour, yes its well marked. But it may be opened soon.

Thank you. We are going the first week in august. I was hoping it would be open by things I was reading, but now I am still seeing it for the fall. If it was early that would be great!
