We tried to bike from Swain Lock to Point of Rocks, on July 1st and after climbing over about 20 trees in 2 miles, gave up and went South to Great Falls, where is was fairly clear. Today we went from Point of Rocks to Harpers Ferry, which was completely clear, but tried to go from Point to Rocks to Whites Ferry and again, hit so many trees down that we turned aroudn. Anyone know what it is like from Harpers Ferry to Shepherdstown ?
