I am just passing through western Pa and thought about a quick ride from Connellsville to Ohiopyle and back. My bike I will be transporting is a road bike with 700/25 tires. Will these be OK on this part of the trail?

It should be okay unless all the rain has made a mess of things. The GAP is gravel. I have noticed the fine gravel tends to coat the chain and gears, and I've wondered if it causes wear and tear, but you're not going that far.
