I am leading a group of college students on a study/travel program. We arrive in Cumberland tomorrow from Meyersdale. We will be riding to DC. We hear there is a section of the Towpath that is flooded due to a lock break and therefore the section is impasse able at the moment. Where is the section and how large of an area does the flood impact?

Tim, there is extensive flooding along the towpath right now. Checkout @chesapeakeandohiocanal on Facebook for updates on flooding and closures.
