Big savage Tunnel

Does anyone know if it's necessary to have a headlight on your bike to go through Big savage Tunnel on the Allegheny Passage?

It is always wise to have a light with you on a long ride in case of an emergency. But the Bid Savage is lighted and you can make it through without it.
