What is the best type of bike to use? I have a trek FX commuter bike and a road bike that I put cyclocross tires on for the winter.

I would prefer the FX as I ride a Fisher dual sport and they are quite similar. But you would be OK with cycloX tires...I think!

I have a trex fx. Rode to dc 3 times. Put puncture resistant tires on this year and had no flats. Last year had 2 flats with regular tires. I love my fx and think it's a great bike for the trail.
