hi. I'm planning to run 26.2 on the C and O (soon). Can you tell me:

1) Are there markers every mile?

2) Are the water fountains in service during the winter?

3) Is the trail more or less level between Georgetown and Seneca?

Mile markers every mile, if you can find them. Water pumps have handles removed for winter, and the cisterns are drained. It is level, per se.
