Been staying at Steve's place since 2008. Great location, only 1/2 mile from canal trail, clean rooms, a killer breakfast at a reasonable rate. This is a lodge, not a stuffy B-n-B with lace doilies and fancy curtains. Too many bad things have been said about this place that just aren’t true. Highly recommended from a seasoned hiker. I have seen a lot worse.
