Are there any trailhead parking areas on the C&O in the first 8 miles of the trail coming out of Georgetown. We'd like to stay out of town, then drive to a trail head and commute into D.C. to bicycle tour the town.

Check towns and services on this sight. Bathesda has parking and is 10 miles out.
