Best time to ride and camp on the trail

I am thinking of riding trail and maybe camping every other night. What months of year is the most comfortable to do this, keeping in mind I don't like to sweat when trying to sleep?

I would have to say early or mid-September. You still have warm days but the evenings were cooler when I went at that time.
