Arriving in DC via Amtrak train to do the C&O trail.
Anyone know how to get from train station to trail head ?

It's easy. From the train station, ride four blocks to the Mall. Ride west along the Mall until you get to the Lincoln Memorial. From there, go two blocks to the river where you'll see a bike path. Follow that west into Georgetown, under freeway, past the smelling garbage bins, and you're at the trail head. Maybe four miles in all. A mile from the Lincoln Memorial. Except for the four blocks from the train station to the Mall, you don't have to ride on streets unless you want to.
