This site lets you subscribe to a daily digest email. On days when there are no posts, you receive an email that says there were no new forum posts.

Since that happens frequently, it might be nice to allow subscribers to opt out of "no new forum posts" emails.

Thank you for a great suggestion. The individual opt-out would have taken quite a bit of effort, but I came up with an easier solution. If there are no posts for the day, we simply will not send out any emails at all. So if you don't see a digest, you know there were no posts the prior day.

Of course you're getting a digest today because of this post! (plus a couple others)
