A new pay campground has been constructed along the GAP Trail in West Newton, PA. It is located on Collinsburg Road which parallels the Trail about 200 feet away. It has open space along the river and has city water, bathrooms, showers, a pavilion, fire pit, free morning coffee, etc. The fee is $19/night per person. Reservations can be made at www.gaptrailcampground.com. It looked quite nice when I rode by it today.
